Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) – Module 02

The Cambridge TKT programme comprises of a series of modules. Each module has its own test, which may be taken independently. Each TKT module courses may be taken in any order and in any combination, making it easier to meet the requirements of the qualification needed.

Our short course of the Cambridge TKT Module 2 will help educators improve classroom teaching by diving into lesson planning and resource selection. Participants gain the ability to create interesting, well-organised classes that are suited to the needs of their students. In order to make every lesson engaging and dynamic, this module also emphasises the efficient use of teaching support aids, including digital tools and textbooks.

TKT Module 2 content:

 

Part 1 : Lesson Planning and use of Resources for Language Teaching

  • Identifying and selecting aims
  • Identifying the different components of a lesson plan
  • Planning an individual lesson or a sequence of lessons
  • Choosing assessment activities

 

Part 2 : Selection and use of Resources

  • Consulting reference resources to help in lesson preparation
  • Selection and use of course book materials
  • Selection and use of supplementary materials and activities
  • Selection and use of teaching aids

 

A set of practice mock tests will be carried out for TKT Module 2.
