Literature is the imagination which pours out of the minds of the writers and poets. It is a discipline closely linked to history, psychology, economic and societal conditions of various periods of the world’s past.
Both offered courses taught by our Tutors are specifically designed for your Literature studies. You will choose either of the courses for the preparation of your O/Ls or A/Ls examination.
Exam Preparation for O-Levels Students
Students will be introduced to a critical analysis of literary texts from different genres, as prescribed for GCE O/L English Literature.
They will be guided using an exam oriented approach, on a summarised version of the syllabus. The Tutor will conduct discussions on thematic and literary concerns on important topics under each genre. The students will be trained to answer both context questions and essay type questions presented through both Past Papers and Model Papers.

Exam Preparation for A-Levels Students
Students will be introduced to a critical analysis of literary texts from different genres, as prescribed for GCE A/L English Literature.
Following the basic interpretation of a literary work associating it with the biography of the author and its historical period, a video-based literature teaching of the work will be carried out so as to do a deeper analysis and a discussion of the literary techniques, themes and significance of certain symbols of the work. This will turn out to be very helpful as it becomes a lasting memory in the mind of the student. Revision too will be done by using both Past Papers and Model Papers.
